Welcome to the middle of nowhere!

The rather ordinary story about myself is  down below. Other specific information which might interest you are probably related to my research interests and teaching experiences. Other than that, this website contains my random notes which you may or may not find interesting.

My name is Adila Alfa Krisnadhi. I joined the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia in January 2003 as a lecturer. My research interests encompass areas related with semantic web, knowledge representation, automated reasoning and intelligent systems. I have taught several undergraduate courses and supervised several undergraduate thesis projects.

As of September 2010, I am a PhD student at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Wright State University which is located nearby Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A. I mainly work under supervision of Prof. Pascal Hitzler of the Knoesis Center. My stay in the U.S. is supported by the Fulbright Foreign Student Grant - Indonesia Presidential Scholarship Program 2010. Information about Fulbright Programs for Foreign Students can be found here. Also, information that are specific to Fulbright programs for Indonesian can be obtained from AMINEF.

Previously, I also studied at the International Master Program in Computational Logic (CL) from October 2004 to March 2007. This program is affiliated with the International Center of Computational Logic at the Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), Germany, which is led by Prof. Steffen Hölldobler. This program was also one of the first programs that were funded by  the European Commision's Erasmus Mundus Programme under the name of European Master in Computational Logic (EMCL). In Dresden, I worked, both for CL project and master thesis, in Prof. Franz Baader's Automata Theory Group which is a part of Institute of Theoretical Computer Science, TU Dresden. My direct supervisor was Dr. Carsten Lutz whom is now the Professor of Theory of Artificial Intelligence in Universität Bremen.  My stay in Germany was funded by DAAD scholarship and AsiaLink program. DAAD Jakarta office's website is here.

I am also an alumnus of Universitas Indonesia wherefrom I got a bachelor degree in computer science in 2002. My bachelor thesis work was supervised by Prof. Benyamin Kusumoputro and my academic advisor was Prof. T. Basaruddin. Further references about me can also be provided by Dr. L.Y. Stefanus and Dr. Wisnu Jatmiko.

I was a member of Indonesian Team to the 39th International Mathematical Olympiad in Taipei, 1998.

For non-serious stuff, I am an avid soccer fan, especially Manchester United. I also love reading science fiction and fantasy novels as well as some Japanese Manga. I also like to watch Japanese Dramas.
